A dietitian who meets you where you are
No judgement. No extreme plans. Just practical, evidence-based nutrition guidance built around your real life — your culture, your schedule, your goals.
Creative nutrition counseling to live a vibrant life
Kirsten likes Mark Twain's quote: "You can't depend on your eyes if your imagination is out of focus." She helps you imagine what your nutritious meals and healthy lifestyle can actually look like — she calls it Creative Nutrition.
Kirsten is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) licensed in Pennsylvania (LDN), holding a Master's degree from Drexel University. She can spot a scam supplement study quickly and help you understand the current nutrition research that applies to your specific health situation.
She is particularly passionate about helping people with Diabetes (pre-DM, Type 2, or Type 1) manage their condition through diet and lifestyle changes, and is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES/CDE) — providing weekly diabetes classes at PCCH Center on the Hill (online).
Kirsten is also a landscape architect certified in healthcare garden design — a unique credential that informs her holistic approach to wellness. She came to nutrition out of genuine frustration with the obesity epidemic driven by marketed processed foods and reduced access to outdoor activity.

Five reasons clients keep coming back
Affordable
Most insurance plans cover visits. Self-pay starts at $120 for the initial visit and $75 per 30-minute follow-up — transparent, reasonable pricing with no hidden fees.
Realistic
Kirsten builds real-life meal plans with foods you actually enjoy — including restaurant options and cultural favorites. No unrealistic restrictions, no food guilt.
Inspirational
She finds what tickles your tongue and what makes you want to cook. Kirsten listens more than she lectures — she genuinely wants to hear about your favourite meals.
She Understands
Food is complex, expensive, and emotional. Kirsten is not a vegan, is a picky eater, and has a busy family life. She's created dozens of nutritious one-pan meals that are cheap, fast, and genuinely delicious.
Efficient
She doesn't drag out appointments. Most clients become independent and thriving after 2–4 visits. Many see weight change, improved health, and better blood tests after just one.
Uniquely Qualified
As both a dietitian and certified landscape architect specializing in healthcare garden design, Kirsten brings a holistic, whole-environment view to your health that few practitioners offer.
The person behind the practice
Kirsten lives what she teaches. She enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking, gardening, and cooking garden-to-table meals for her family and friends — with her husband, their grown daughters, and their dog.
This active lifestyle directly informs her approach to nutrition counseling. She understands that health isn't just about what's on your plate — it's about the whole rhythm of your life.
As she says: "Everybody's gotta eat!" — and her goal is to make that eating as enjoyable and health-supporting as possible.
